Yeah, yeah, so I make this grand pronouncement about a greater dedication to non-paying writing like this site, and then fall silent for a week. You know why? Because writing more is easy. Writing better is hard. This may be an exercise in self-absorbtion, but I am going to try to stop doing throwaway entries about the minutae of my daily life. That's why I've added archives -- to encourage me to write stuff worth saving. (I've archived this whole thing offline, but like I want all you reading the last few months of blather...)

After this, I also promise there will be minimal meta-blogging. And many fewer buzzwords like those that start with meta-. Yuck.
