When Media Grok bit the dust along with the Industry Standard, we were overwhelmed (in the good way) by condolances from readers. We also got a little bit of ink: Newsbytes' Brian Krebs was kind enough to call us "influential." We got some props from journalist webloggers, too, as Deborah Branscum (Newsweek, Fortune) said Grok was "fabulous" and JD Lasica (Online Journalism Review) said he'd miss it.
